Flat-wire Inductor Winding: Why Wire Size and Damage Control Matter
Published · Jun 21, 2026
Flat-wire inductor winding differs from round-wire winding. Wire width, thickness, material and coil outline directly affect fixture design, wire feeding and winding stability. BJT18 is more suitable for larger thick flat-wire coils, while BJT17 is more suitable for smaller thin flat-wire coils.
The brochure does not provide full parameter tables for these two models, so inquiry should start with flat-wire size, coil outline, sample photos, wire-damage requirement and target cycle time.
