Why Board Threading, Foot Hanging and Soldering Matter After Winding
Published · Jun 18, 2026
Winding is only the upstream process. Common-mode and differential-mode inductors often require lead forming, cutting, foot hanging, board threading, soldering or sleeving after winding. Manual downstream work can become the real bottleneck.
BJT13, BJT15, BJT05, BJT03 and BJT07 cover board threading, foot hanging, soldering and sleeving processes. Selection should include the current manual workflow and bottleneck cycle time, not only winding parameters.
